The project is involved in community groups and projects that advocate to improve LGBT health outcomes and raise awareness of gender identity and sexuality issues.

LGBT Health Systems Community Consultation

In 2005 the project conducted a State wide LGBT community consultation to identify the experiences, concerns, barriers and mechanisms to improve LGBT people’s access to health services and health outcomes.  The LGBT Health Systems Community Consultation Report October 2005 summarises the concerns identified and social pressures that affect the LGBT community’s health outcomes.
